Mensa Queensland had 496 members in February 2025, consisting of 266 adult members and 230 child members. The proportion of child members is growing very rapidly.

Mensa Queensland's membership is far flung over many regions. One member even lives in Fiji. Most Mensa activities have traditionally taken place in Brisbane, but the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast are starting to launch their own Mensa events.

Regional Queensland members greatly look forward to attending the 2025 Brisbane AMC to make contact with other Australian members.
